Royal Family News: Prince Charles Is Talking To Tattle Tale Prince Harry But Cautiously

British royal family news divulges that the ice is melting in the cold war between Prince Harry and his spurned family. According to Page Six, the runaway royal is talking to his father Prince Charles once again. You’ll recall from Harry’s tirades against the fam in that infamous Oprah interview that one of the things 30-something Harry held against his father was him taking away his allowance. No, not as a child, but within the past year or so.

Charles and Harry have not seen each other in months but several sources told Page Six that they are back on speaking terms.

Royal Family News – The Princes Are Talking Again

The father and son pair were in each other’s company in April for the occasion of Prince Philip’s funeral. Harry also returned to the UK in July, but each time he was alone and Charles has never met his granddaughter Lilibet who was born in July.

An insider told Page Six, “Charles was hugely hurt when Harry and Meghan just dumped it on the family they were giving up their roles and moving abroad.” That bombastic display of pique was termed Megxit hinting at the divisive nature of the decision. “I don’t think [Harry and Charles] talked for a good while, but now the channels of communication are open.”

But the source added, “I don’t think it’s all roses. It’s not like they are sitting down for a heart-to-heart on the phone once a week.”

Royal Family News – Megxit Was A Defining Move

Harry and Meghan followed up Megxit with an equally shocking tell-all interview with talkmeister Oprah Winfrey.

During the mudfest they hurled unfounded accusations and bizarre tales many of which were immediately shown to be false, fictions of the mind. Additionally Harry denounced his brother and father as little more than animals in cages due to their royal roles. It should be noted that Harry is the “spare” with no path to the throne, while William and Charles will one day be king. Was that the green eyed monster in Harry talking?

Poor pitiful waif Harry also whined that his dad cut off his allowance. But financial reports told a different story. Charles continued to financially support Harry and Meghan even after they abandoned the monarchy. Which is incredible when one considers that Harry is in his 30s and expects his dad to support him, his wife and kids. What a prize.

One month after his embarrassing soul baring to Oprah, Harry cried on his Apple+ docuseries, “The Me You Can’t See” (also led by Oprah) that Charles gifted him a “cycle” of “genetic pain and suffering.” No wonder Charles wants to limit his talk to Harry—has the royal family ever seen such an unregal ingrate?
