Royal Family News: Prince Charles Reassures The Public That the Queen Is ‘All Right’

British royal family news reveals that Prince Charles spoke out about his mother’s health today amidst a backdrop of concern for the 95-year old monarch. Charles told well-wishers that his mother, Queen Elizabeth, is fine and resting at Windsor Castle.

Royal Family News – How is Queen Elizabeth Doing?

When 72-year-old Prince Charles appeared on the street in Brixton he was deluged by excited royal fans and one called out, “Prince Charles, how is your mother?” to which Charles replied, “She’s, she’s all right thank you.”

What was Charles doing in Brixton? He was there for an official event, to meet The Prince’s Trust Young Entrepreneurs.

Clarence House has confirmed that Charles and his wife Camilla will be present at the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday night, but that Her Majesty will be absent.

Royal Family News – Her Majesty Is At Windsor Castle

While the queen will not be present, plenty of other royals will including Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence. Also present will be the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra.

The monarch has cancelled all public engagements for two weeks on the advice of doctors. It comes after a worrying hospitalization in October. The exact reason for the hospital stay has not been disclosed.

Royal Family News – Her Majesty is Confined To Light Desk Duty

Last Thursday she took a helicopter to Sandringham and is now back at Windsor Castle. She returned on Tuesday following a weekend away at her country estate. She is expected to appear at Sunday’s National Service of Remembrance in the capital although that could change at any moment.

At Sandringham, she was seen with her staff and her dogs and the setting is one in which she and her late husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, visited at this time of year. Prince Philip died at the age of 99 in April.

The Queen was forced to cancel a two-day visit to Northern Ireland and she missed the Cop26 climate change summit in Glasgow, due to her medical issue.
