The gossip mill is alive with stories that even before their parents got married, William and Harry and Camilla’s kids Tom Parker and Laura Lopes were involved in repeated ‘terrible’ fights.
Royal watcher Katie Nicholl wrote about the affair and subsequent family blending in her 2010 biography Harry and William. The book addressed how the children of Charles and Camilla got along behind closed doors.
“William and Laura used to have terrible fights over who was to blame for their broken homes,” wrote Nicholl in her book.

She quoted a family friend as saying that, “William would blame Camilla for all the hurt she had caused his mother, which would send Laura into a rage Laura was not having any of it. She would take a hard line and fire back at William: ‘Your father has ruined my life!’”
In addition, Nicholl detailed how Laura and Tom were endlessly bullied in school over their mother’s illicit and adulterous relationship with Charles.

Of course the hardships experienced by the children of Charles and Camilla were years ago and in the past—or were they? There has not been recent news of difficulties between the step-siblings Harry and William and Laura and Tom, but perhaps they have learned to keep matters closer to the vest? They are all adults now and can forge their own paths without having to be in the shadows of their famous parents. In fact there is even talk that Charles will award Laura with a title once he becomes king; perhaps as a consolation prize for once having “ruined” her life?
