British royal family news shows that Prince William has revealed a bit about the sibling rivalry between his son Prince George and daughter Princess Charlotte. Are they just like other siblings who tussle over domestic chores and the like? It sounds like their squabbles are minor but totally spot on for an 8-year old (George) and a 6-year old (Charlotte). Here is the adorable thing William says these two fight over.

According to William, the pair have “massive fights” over what music will be played while they eat breakfast together. Both kids attend St. Thomas’ Battersea but they will move to Windsor with their parents William and Kate Middleton if rumors of a relocation are accurate. The family is said to be house hunting in order to be closer to his grandmother, 95-year old Queen Elizabeth.

Prince William told the Time to Talk podcast that one of the siblings’ conflicts center around the songs they want to listen to. He said, “Most mornings there’s a massive fight between Charlotte and George as to what song is played in the morning.”

“And I have to, now, basically prioritize that one day someone does this one, and another day it’s someone else’s turn. So, George gets his go, then Charlotte gets her go. Such is the clamor for the music.”

Prince George Is A Soccer Fan

So, given their strong musical tastes, who likes to listen to what? Apparently soccer fan Prince George loves to hear the 2010 FIFA World Cup song Waka Waka, by Shakira.

The Duke of Cambridge noted that the siblings also like to dance to their favorite songs. “There’s a lot of hip movements going along,” he said. “There’s a lot of dressing up. Charlotte, particularly, is running around the kitchen in her dresses and ballet stuff and everything. She goes completely crazy with Louis following her around trying to do the same thing.”

“It’s a really happy moment where the children just enjoy dancing, messing around, and, and singing.”

William also revealed a bit about his own musical tastes. He said that one song he always enjoys listening to is Tina Turner’s Simply the Best. According to the Duke of Cambridge, the song reminds him of his late mother Princess Diana.
