Royal Family News: Prince George Stole The Platinum Party At Buckingham Palace Show

British royal family news shows that the Cambridge kids are stealing the limelight and delighting fans as they attend the queen’s Platinum Jubilee events. On Thursday Prince Louis was the star of the show when he stood next to Queen Elizabeth, his great-grandmother, on the palace balcony and generated a thousand memes with his dramatic reactions. He watched Trooping the Colour and a military flyover, all the while agog at the spectacle and decibels.

At one point he covered his ears, at another he stuck his fingers in his mouth and pulled down his lips. The adorable boy generated tons of praise on social media for his antics and even the queen looked amused.

Royal Family News – The Cambridge Kids Are Natural Stars

Tonight it was Louis’ older brother Prince George who captured the nation’s attention. He and his parents and sister Princess Charlotte sat front and center for the Queen’s Platinum Party Concert at Buckingham Palace. Cameras show the future heir to the throne singing enthusiastically to Rod Stewart’s version of the Neil Diamond classic, Sweet Caroline.

The eight-year-old royal melted hearts and he swayed to the beat and sang the lyrics. Earlier in the day the family visited Wales as part of the jubilee celebrations.

George did not show an ounce of tiredness after his long day but he might sleep in tomorrow morning. His father gave a rousing speech about Her Majesty and he and William laughed and joked in the Royal Box.

Other royals in attendance included Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Zara and Mike Tindall, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice and their husbands. Also present were Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex, who also traveled today to represent the queen.

Royal Family News – The Royals Attended a Concert For the Queen

Earlier today the Wessex’s traveled to Northern Ireland for jubilee celebrations. Tonight they were accompanied by their children Lady Louise Windsor, 18, and James, Viscount Severn, 14.

Princess Anne represented the queen today at the Epsom Derby and she was at the concert with her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, and her children Zara and Peter, and their respective partners. Peter is the Queen’s oldest grandchild and he was accompanied by his daughters Savannah, 12, and Isla, 11.

The show kicked off with a hilarious video of the Queen and a computer generated Paddington Bear as they sat down to tea. It was revealed that the queen keeps marmalade sandwiches in her purse and Paddington managed to make her laugh, which after 70 years on the throne is everything.
