Harry and Meghan Are Shocking
According to the Mirror, a royal insider said of the apparent demand, “Harry and Meghan have made this offer but a lot of people are shocked by the sheer nerve of it. They may genuinely want to see the Queen but it’s breathtaking given what they’ve put her through this year.”
The “offer” sounds more like a request that is designed to make the queen look bad. That’s because if she rejects the request, the Markle’s could make her out to be an unfit grandma the same way Harry has trashed his dad as an unfit parent.

According to the source, “Her Majesty’s staff have not responded so far. In fact, there has also been discussion about Christmas — and whether an invitation should be sent to Harry and Meghan after they spurned one last year.”
It is amazing that the queen is even willing to consider inviting them after they dragged the family to Oprah Winfrey during a tv special watched by millions. And yet the source said, “The Queen is still very fond of Harry and would love to see Lilibet and her brother Archie. But courtiers are surprised by the move, especially from Meghan, after what has happened.”

Will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make it back to the UK anytime soon? After the Mirror’s report, some experts came forth to say they doubted that the royal runaways would be back in 2021. The Sunday Times’ royal correspondent Roya Nikkhah said, “I think given Harry and Meghan decided that they want their life to be in America and Lilibet was born in America – I’m not sure she will be baptized quite yet, she’s very little.”

And royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Express, “Harry and Meghan’s relations with the British press went badly downhill when Archie was christened in private and the names of the godparents were not released.”
He added, “The Sussexes were emphatic that they intended to do things their own way and so it has proved. It must be likely that she will be christened in California though there are rumors of a possible christening at Windsor.”
