British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle must submit to a most unpleasant event, one which was prompted by their outlandish Oprah Winfrey dirt fest—karma anyone?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tried to wiggle out of an interrogation part of a lawsuit brought by Meghan’s sister Samantha. Instead, the judge refused to grant Meghan’s, “request to stop depositions being taken,” according to the Daily Mail.
Among other things Samantha, refutes Meghan’s claim that, “she used to get into her old Ford Explorer through the boot because it was so broken down. In the court papers, Samantha is seeking ‘any and all documents to evidence that you had a Ford Explorer with non-functioning doors.’”

But, before Samantha gets too cocky, Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell declared that the case could be dismissed before the depositions have a chance to take place. Samantha and Meghan’s strained relationship went public in 2017 when Meghan said yes to her prince charming; H and M married in 2018.
In 2021 the royal runaways sat down with Oprah and aired all manner of dirty laundry about both his and her families. Samantha found some of the tawdry tales slanderous and wants a mere $75,000 in damages over what she says are falsehoods. The lawsuit also includes alleged defamations in their 2020 book Finding Freedom.

Samantha alleges that the Markle’s declarations subjected her to, “humiliation, shame and hatred on a worldwide scale.” All that and she only wants less than 100K? Aim higher girl!
Royal Family News – Depositions Coming for Markles
To date Meghan’s lawyers have refused to respond to dozens of questions from Samantha’s lawyers. Her lawsuit was filed in a Florida federal court and they have requested that the judge dismiss the suit. “They also asked the judge to stop the discovery process but she refused to do so.” In that instance the judge wrote: “Defendant Markle does not show that unusual circumstances justify the requested stay, or that prejudice or an undue burden will result if the Court does not impose a stay.”

What this means is that, “Meghan and Harry will have to sit for deposition which will have to take place before July, if the case moves ahead. They are likely to be challenged about statements that Samantha wants a response to including: ‘Queen Elizabeth was not a racist’ and ‘King Charles is not a racist’.”
Additionally, Samantha seeks them to clarify: “whether or not you have ever spoken out in defense of the Plaintiff after seeing the public scrutiny/hatred she has received from your fans.” Be sure to catch up on everything happening with the royal family.
