Royal Family News – Her Majesty RIP
Myko Clelland told Us Weekly, “We’ve seen the brothers [Harry, 38, and Prince William] out together, and we’ve seen them sitting near each other at occasions. And I’m sure they must have talked behind closed doors as well. I think now is the time grief brings families together, and we’ve seen this coming together. So, if it’s going to happen, I think now is the best possible chance.”
On Saturday William the Prince of Wales invited Harry and Meghan the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to join him and Princess Kate, “while greeting public mourners outside of Windsor Castle.”
This “olive branch” came on the heels of a huge peace offering from King Charles III when he mentioned the disloyal pair during his first speech as the new monarch.
In the September 9 speech Charles said, “I want also to express my love for Harry and Meghan, as they continue to build their lives overseas.”

It would appear as if the family is bending over backwards to accommodate and include the couple who vilified the monarchy to a gobsmacked Oprah Winfrey in 2021. Royal expert Gareth Russell previously told the outlet, “I think the king has made it very clear that he wants to heal the rift. (Charles) has made it very clear that he would … like a better relationship with the Duke of Sussex. So let’s hope that the olive branch is something that works.”
Meghan suspended her podcast after the queen’s death and the rumor mill is lit up with speculation that references to the queen have been scrubbed.

And, in yet another concession, “the palace also reversed course when allowing Harry — who lost his honorary military titles in 2020 upon stepping down from his position as a working royal — to wear his military uniform at the grandchildren’s vigil for the queen on Saturday.”
By all accounts, Harry was not entitled to wear his uniform after throwing away his royal rights and duties. Clelland concluded that if the trouble making couple want to truly bury the hatchet, Harry will drop his memoir in the toilet. “We’ll see what … follows from this, but I think we’re in the right place,” the expert said. “So we can’t judge the future yet, but all the pieces are where they should be and we’ll just have to watch this space. And I think over the coming weeks and months, we’ll see very clearly whether there has been a healing … or we’re back to the days that we had before.”
