Royal Family news reveals that, according to Independent UK, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are floating a move from their current home in Montecito to Hope Ranch. The duke and duchess moved with their youngster Archie, 3, into the $14 million home in Montecito in 2020 after stepping down as working royals. Baby Lillibet was born a year later in June of 2021.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 19,000 sq ft Montecito property features nine bedrooms and a whopping 16 bathrooms. Variety reported that the home also includes a gym, library, wet and dry saunas, an arcade, game room, and home theater as well as a two-bedroom guest house.

Where Are Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Moving?

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been reportedly “hunting” for a new home in Hope Ranch. Hope Ranch is a private community located about 10 miles from where they currently live in Montecito.

Hope Ranch is an affluent neighborhood situated in Santa Barbara County in California. In fact, Hope Ranch is known to be one of the wealthiest areas in California, and Hope Ranch is one of the most expensive “hoods” in Santa Barbara.

According to Realtor.com, median home prices for the area are at $5.3 million as of September 2022. According to Independent UK, home prices there can top out at $22 million.

What’s So Special About Hope Ranch?

Numerous celebrities live in Hope Ranch and the list includes rap artist Snoop Dog as well as 1966 Tarzan star Ron Ely. It is also home to billionaires like Wendy McCaw who owns Santa Barbara News Press.

But, what’s so special? This opulent neighborhood boasts numerous luxurious amenities. It is bordered by a private beach and has its own tennis court, golf, and country club. There are also nearly 30 miles of equestrian trails which brings with it a substantial equestrian community with around 10 percent of homeowners also owning horses.

Residents Worry Of Possible Arrival

However, TMZ reports that news of the possibility of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle relocating to the neighborhood has sparked concern among residents who told the outlet that they are “worried” about the amount of unwanted attention that might accompany their arrival.
