According to one royal expert, Meghan and Harry crossed the line they scrawled in the sand and as a result were given a long overdue comeuppance at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Royal Family News – Harry and Meghan Have Crossed a Line
One source is spilling on the consequences of 24 months of trash talking done by the Markle’s. The insider says that Harry and Meghan came face to face with, “the ramifications of their Oprah Winfrey interview,” after coming back to celebrate the Queen’s 70 years on the throne.
An insider told the Daily Telegraph, “[The Sussexes] are not going to be playing a prominent role. A line has been drawn.” Harry and Meghan have not made an “acknowledgement of the hurt it caused” and have been “relegated” as a result, the source added.
In other words, Meghan and Harry reman pugnacious, entitled and expect the monarchy to apologize to THEM.
Royal Family News – The Markle’s Want An Apology?
Harry and Meghan returned to what the former ironically called “home” and stayed at Frogmore Cottage this weekend. The turning point came when, “Harry and Meghan attended the St. Paul’s thanksgiving occasion on Friday, with the theme of public service at the heart of the event.”
They were booed and in turn Harry’s jokester façade quickly faded and the facial storm clouds came out. Meghan remained her stagey self, trying to keep the smile from turning upside down.
Royal Family News – The Markle’s Fled The UK
Meghan’s soul mate Omid Scobie told BBC Breakfast: “I spoke with people close to the couple… who said that they want to be as low profile as possible during this trip. It’s almost hard to believe, but I think yesterday Trooping the Colour was a great example. We didn’t really catch sight of them on TV cameras.” And thus the spin begins.
It was telling that the thirsty pair fled the UK for the United States on Sunday afternoon–before the Jubilee ended.
