Royal Family news reveals that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s bombshell interview in March of last year was chock full of lies. Read on and we’ll give you the low down.
Royal Family News – Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Lied A Lot, Says Expert
Royal Family news reveals that, according to Express UK, the Sussex’s Oprah Winfrey interview on CBS was not only filled with slurs against the Royal Family but it was also reportedly filled with lies.
Speaking to Sky News Australia royal expert Angela Levin pointed out, almost two years after the fact, how many lies the Sussexes made during the CBS interview. To Levins recollection, there were “over 30 lies in that interview.”
Levin Says Heroism Award Was For Absolutely Nothing
She explained that “Meghan told Oprah Winfrey that there were several long conversations when Harry came later because Meghan occupied it, of course, with 45 minutes and Harry came on the last bit.
“He said, ‘oh no, this was before we were married, now have you ever heard of anyone saying before a couple got married, what color will your children’s skin be? They don’t know if they’re getting engaged; or if they’re getting married. They don’t know if they can have children.
“It’s nonsense,” she said. “It’s a non-starter but that’s what it is, this award for heroism is for absolutely nothing, it’s for the Oprah interview, which doesn’t have any proof.” She also said that another thing the Sussexes complained about was not understanding mental health.
“Well, since Harry and William and Catherine had a platform about mental health, I don’t believe that’s right,” she said.
Royal Reconciliation Unlikely As Prince Harry’s Book Looms
After Markle opened up in the interview about her own struggles with mental health, Levin said, “I’m not saying she wasn’t depressed but it’s not the fault of the Palace. It outrages me, I can’t tell you, they’ve got their fame, they’ve got their fortune because of the Royal Family, and its hundreds and hundreds of millions, isn’t it?”
Levin went on to say that it was just “ghastly” that Harry and Meghan “behave like spoilt teenagers.” After having stepped down as working royals and relocating to the United States in 2020, Harry and Meghan returned to the UK in September following Queen Elizabeth II’s death. They remained for three weeks sparking hope of reunification after they appeared alongside the Prince and Princess of Wales to greet mourners.
However, as Prince Harry’s feared memoir looms large and the couple’s new Netflix documentary is expected to hit screens in a few weeks, experts speculate that reconciliation is unlikely in the short term.
