British royal family news reveals the intriguing dish that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have just rehired two palace aides who were cut when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the UK.
Although they have been on a spending spree after signing lucrative contracts with Spotify and Netflix, so far the couple have no actual work to show for their big fat paychecks.
In addition to the two formerly excised staff, Harry and Meghan have hired three additional PR machine people; and that’s just for their US PR needs. Even though they have a nestablished PR firm they also found it necessary to start their own in-house PR outfit on two continents.

For whatever reason, the pair have rehired their ex-palace staff Clara Loughran and Beth Herlihy. The pair will reportedly work on a freelance basis on charity projects in the UK.
The women lost their jobs in March when Harry and Meghan relocated to North America. The couple also have a UK PR chief, James Holt.
In addition they find it necessary to employee a whole other group of PR people in the US. This includes a head of communications, a press secretary and a chief of staff. Why so many PR people? Perhaps the better to spin their tales?
But that’s not all they have on their payroll. They reportedly have hired PAs, staff working on their production and podcast ventures even though the public has yet to see any project produced by either one of them. They also employ household employees and private security.

Loughran is married to Harry’s ex-assistant communications secretary, Nick Loughran, and she was made a Member of the Royal Victorian Order by the Queen, on Harry’s recommendation.
Herlihy previously worked as the Sussexes’ program manager. The two just formed Herlihy Loughran, which they describe as an “advisory partnership” that links “influential people” to good causes. Because who would want to help non-influential people who could use a hand up apparently.
Sources confirmed that Harry and Meghan are among the elite pair’s first clients.
PR expert Mark Borkowski said the couple’s hiring spree displays the “global” ambitions of the couple. “There’s clearly a big operation being set up there. What will be interesting to see is whether these [new] people challenge the way [the couple] go about things.”
“The focus on them is pretty relentless and they clearly want to change the established narrative around them now they are trying to launch themselves in America.”
