That concert is happening alongside a BTS one in Seoul and an Elton John one in Paris as part of an international charity event put on by Global Citizen. The splashy concerts, which will cost millions and produce tons of attendant pollution, are meant to raise world awareness on climate change, vaccine equality and famine.
Why all the excess and fuss? Because the sponsor, Global Citizen, wants to tell the world’s citizens, presumably not the rock stars and woke celebs it’s catering to, to plant one billion trees, make sure one billion vaccines are given to poor countries and deliver meals for 41 million people on the brink of famine.
Question: Why not just give all the money being spent on these overproduced concerts to these three causes? Maybe that’s just too logical to ask of a bunch of egocentric celebs and the charities who make money off of them?
Royal Family News – Elton John Is Performing
Poor Elton John nearly missed his star turn. He is delaying his current concert tour after suffering a hip injury. The trooper now says that he will put off the operation until after Saturday’s Global Citizen Live concert because, “I don´t want to let a charity down.” He has enough money that he could easily donate something to cover his concert proceeds and get the operation already. But this one concert is more important than his health.
That’s because the world’s entertainers, not the world’s life savers like vaccine inventers, first responders and such, are putting on flashy, and no doubt trashy in some cases, stage outfits and prancing around.
Eilish, Coldplay and JLo will gather in New York´s Central Park, under the watchful eye of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Hopefully no one breaks a hip like Elton John strutting their stuff.
Royal Family News – The Markle’s Are Living Large
Meanwhile Stevie Wonder will entertain in Los Angeles, and Ed Sheeran will entertain in Paris alongside ailing trooper Elton John, Black Eyed Peas and Stormzy.
Tons of other artists, including Metallica and The Weeknd, are also involved in this ginormously expensive display of fun and games, without an adult apparently deciding that all the money spent could instead go to famine relief, Covid vaccines and climate unchange.

Just go away.
I agree with the writer of this article. It would have been more environmentally friendly to have just spent this time and money on the actual charities. This has just caused more environment pollution and risk of spreading covid. If these people genuinely wanted to help these issues this money could have been spent directly on these problems but I guess there would have been no self promotion for all these celebrities, so obviously their publicity is more important than their genuine concern for these issues and solving these serious problems.
Why are you all still calling him Prince Harry when he is no longer one he's walked away from the Royal Family so no longer a prince
