British royal family news teases that some are speculating about Prince Harry, Duke Of Sussex and Meghan Markle’s next big venture and it could be one that’s close to home. Many celebs, like Bethenny Frankel, Sarah Jessica Parker and Jon Bon Jovi, now endorse or even have a signature alcohol line, could these two be next?

The couple have deals with streaming platforms Spotify and Netflix and recently showed the world who they are in a tell-all down and dirty mudslinging interview with Oprah Winfrey.

According to the Daily Mail, they’ve heard a rumor that the thirsty pair could be considering starting a vineyard to produce wine. Apparently their neighbors are chatting up the possibility of a Markle Vineyard in Montecito, California.

Penny Bianchi, who is neighbors with Oprah Winfrey in the same enclave told the Daily Mail it makes sense for the couple to enter the boozy industry.

Royal Family News – Will The Markle’s Sell Sussex Wines?

She told the Daily Mail, “It seems to be a very popular thing to do around here so I wouldn’t be surprised if Harry and Meghan did the same. Montecito has so many great things to speak of and the wine industry is one of them.”

“It would be really interesting and cool if they started a wine label of their own.”

Likewise, Santa Barbara winemaker Greg Martellotto said it would be “fantastic” if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex entered the wine making industry.

According to him, “They are global people with name recognition around the world who could go anywhere but they came to Santa Barbara and I think that in and of itself says a lot.”

During their tell-all conversation with Oprah, the couple aired the royal family’s dirty laundry with glee and a distinct lack of regret. They bashed his father and brother, Kate Middleton, and even unnamed royals came under their knife of allegation.

Like the one in which Meghan claimed the Archbishop married them in the back yard three days early. Sorry Meghan, but the Archbishop slapped that lie down, saying to do so would have been illegal.

Maybe a great name for a Sussex wine would be, “Bitter Grapes?”
