Royal Family news shows Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making it no secret that they have a very rocky road to royalty during their short 18 months at Buckingham Palace, Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy knew all along that this would happen.

As a matter of fact, the blonde British beauty says that one of the reasons why she knew she couldn’t take the next step in her relationship with Harry is because of all the immense pressure that she already felt being his girlfriend. Bring his royal wife could have easily sent her over the edge, just like it did for Meghan Markle. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Express.co.uk, Chelsy Davy knew this would happen long before anyone else predicted it. While speaking to Oprah Winfrey in her explosive tell-all interview, Meghan hinted that she was having a difficult time with her mental health behind closed palace doors. What’s more, she also said that things got so bad at one point that she was experiencing suicidal thoughts during her pregnancy in 2018. Apparently, Chelsy knew something like this would happen from the moment that she began dating Prince Harry in 2006.

Back in 2016, Chelsy told the Daily Mail that being Harry’s girlfriend felt crazy, scary and unfortunately all at the same time. That’s why she knew she couldn’t become his wife.

She said, “I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn’t cope. I was trying to be a normal kid and it was horrible. It was nuts. That’s also why I wanted to go back to Africa.”

And while Chelsy might have seen all of the signs before she did, Meghan says that when she met Harry, she simply didn’t understand what ‘royal’ work entailed. She told Oprah, “I didn’t fully understand what the job was: What does it mean to be a working royal? What do you do? What does that mean? He [Harry] and I were very aligned on our cause-driven work, that was part of our initial connection.”

      Kate had 10 years to prepare herself with William to become Royal.
      All Meghan knew was that she and Harry were madly in in love. No “commoner” knows what it is like! Come on people, stop this, and give the family a chance to talk and heal. They have a lot to lose.

      She lived with him from the beginning, for over 2 years, surely she saw what his life was like. She knew exactly what she was getting into, she thought she would change thing to her likeing. She felt they would be so lucky to have her, she would be able to do whatever she wanted. Remember she was “going to hit the ground running” and fix everything she didn’t like. She was in trouble from the get go, she balked at simple things, no going bare legged, no dark nail polish, no sitting with legs crossed, no holding hands in public, she was hanging all over him at all times, & yes he loved it. I hope they go away quietly, live their life as they see fit, raise their children and be happy. It’s up to them.

      Harry's former girlfriend would have had a better understanding of Royal life, and history, and respect for The Royal Family, and Her Majesty The Queen, and all that she stands for, and would also have been able to conduct herself accordingly. I strongly suspect that she also came to know and understand what a flake Harry is, (so to speak), and how needy he is. She no doubt still cared for Harry, but she did not have a personal agenda and ambition for herself as regards the Royal Family and what they could "do for her" and she was honest with Harry about it all, and that says a lot about her character.
