Royal Family News: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Top Secret Project With Nelson Mandela

British royal family news shows that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in NYC this week so that Harry could stumble through a UN speech on topics he knows nothing about—poverty, climate change, and feminist ideals.

Turns out he was actually invited to be one of the speakers, “at the UN’s Nelson Mandela celebration as part of an ongoing, secret project with the Nelson Mandela Foundation arranged through their company Archewell.” Meghan was in the audience and that was about it, and the DailyMail.com can’t say for certain whether or not they flew in on a private jet but they can state that they were there at the behest of Mathu Joyini, South African Ambassador to the UN.

Prince Harry Was Invited to the UN

Furthermore, a spokesperson for the foundation said on Tuesday: “Harry’s speech was given ‘in the context of the Foundation already working with their company Archewell on a Mandela-related project.’”

Perhaps most importantly, “They declined to give more details since the project is yet to be announced, but said it was rooted in ‘leadership development.’” Also, “A spokesman for Archewell did not immediately respond to inquiries.”

As the outlet notes, the choice of Harry to speak at the UN, “baffled some pundits and stumped members of the South African media.” Can we say, DAMAGE CONTROL?

Prince Harry Is In a Secret Project for the UN

Harry talked for 15-minutes and afterward questions about his legitimacy to talk at all on the subjects he preached about were rife on social media. How did a privileged man who once dressed as a Nazi score a UN invite? What does Harry even know about Roe v. Wade? Why is a Brit dissing America? All legit questions.

Perhaps the only things not questioned during Harry’s rambling speech were his words about, “his mother, the late Princess Diana, and her bond with Mandela, and his love of Africa, where he said he realized he had a ‘soulmate’ in Meghan.” Otherwise crickets. Or, as the Daily Mail notes, “Meghan watched on proudly from the sparse crowd.”

Prince Harry Met Crickets

Not all the Mandela’s approved of Naked Vegas Pool Boy Harry representing the family. Ndaba Mandela, “the civil rights icon’s grandson, said on Monday night Harry and Meghan were ‘worlds apart’ from his grandfather. They cannot be compared on any level,’ he said during an appearance on Piers Morgan’s TalkTV show Uncensored. There are no parallels at all.”

And, the South African newspaper The Sunday Times mocked Harry as the, “Duke of L.A.”

“He’s in exile. Just like Madiba. No, sorry, of course, he was imprisoned for 27 years on Robben Island. Same, same-ish. Harry is imprisoned in his gilded pleasure palace in Montecito with a podcast schedule and documentary team following him around.”
