British royal family news shows that self-important people Meghan Markle and Prince Harry jumped into the fray and released a statement condemning Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

Their effort was roundly mocked on social media and for good reason: they are like the kids who cut in front of the line, ignorantly unaware of others’ disdain for them. And yet they keep it up, pushing themselves through one PR blunder after another, despite opinion polls showing their popularity is in the gutter. Numbers don’t lie. The Sussex’s, as they like to call themselves, a Duke and Duchess trying to impress in the Land of the Free, would save themselves a lot of time and money if they swallowed a big dose of reality.

And yet the upside is that their hubris and lecturing under the influence of ignorance is the gift that keeps on giving. What would the day be without some stupidity from them? At least it gives the world a good laugh at a time when it’s sorely needed. Maybe there is a purpose for them after all.

Royal Family News – Why Are Harry And Meghan So Unpopular?

For instance, Harry’s latest blunder is suing the Daily Mail (again) for some unspecified infraction. That news broke this week, and at the same time he has brought legal action against the UK’s Metropolitan Police for not protecting him—while he sits on his couch in the US. Meghan’s latest prank involved her punking street vendors trying to make a living (nice) and calling herself a hot mommy while sucking on a baby bottle in the street. Cannot make this stuff up.

And so when the pompous so-called Duke and Duchess of Sussex wrote on their Archewell site about the adult matter of war and peace, naturally sane minded people pushed back. This is what they said: “Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and all of us at Archewell stand with the people of Ukraine against this breach of international and humanitarian law and encourage the global community and its leaders to do the same.” Talking about oneself in the third person is always a red flag.

Royal Family News – Harry And Meghan Ridiculed

Social media lit up with slap downs from the common man to Piers Morgan. One person tweeted that, “Putin would be ‘shaking in his boots,” and another posted, “Phew, that’s that sorted then. Putin will immediately recall the military and send them back to their garrisons. Thanks for that Harry and Meg, you saved us all. We owe you one!”

Someone else asked the germane question, “What a joke. Are they speaking for the UK or American? Or just jumping on for attention. Harry and Meghan have spoken. Putin Russian president is now scared LOL.”

Piers wasn’t impressed either, posting, “This will really rattle Putin.”
