Royal Family News: Prince Harry And Meghan Participating In Jubilee To Help Failing Brand

British royal family news shows that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been banned from appearing on the balcony with Queen Elizabeth during her Platinum Jubilee in June. And yet they have defiantly declared that they will be in attendance despite their obvious unwelcome status. Now royal experts are weighing in to comment on why the unwanted pair insist on thrusting themselves into the spotlight.

Do The Markle’s Have Ulterior Motives?

Could it be that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have ulterior motives for wanting to be with the family they have dragged for two years since their defection from the monarchy? Royal expert Hugo Vickers thinks that the thirsty pair are coming to the UK next month only for the purpose of, “regaining their deteriorating brand value.”

He told True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat, “I think it’s entirely to do with branding because the further away that he [Harry] gets from the Royal Family, he turns into a guy in blue jeans, with a ginger beard, coming off a plane with a backpack on.”

Is Prince Harry Just Some Guy Now?

Vickers added that this image, “isn’t very marketable in my point of view.”

Another royal expert, Russell Myers concurred with Vickers’ assessment that Harry has become just some random guy. The royal editor of the Mirror stated, “I think they [The Sussexes] would have wanted to be on the balcony, of course. There is an argument to say that they still need to be seen as royal.”

“This is one of the biggest events of the generation and they need to stay relevant. They’re not having a great time at the moment. There is pressure from Netflix, who have dropped Meghan’s debut show Pearl [and] I think they are potentially struggling to stay relevant.”

Meghan Markle Has Been Cancelled By Netflix

He is referring to the cancellation of her cartoon reportedly based on her childhood. She had boasted about making a series titled Pearl, and many guessed it was to be based on her Sizzler days. This month the streamer cancelled the project as it was two years overdue, and employers tend to frown on slackers.

Despite their ban, Harry and Meghan, “announced via their representative that they will be joining the Queen and the rest of the royal family in her Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The couple will also be bringing kids Archie and Lilibet.”
