British royal family news reveals that a royal insider has had to eat their words. Apparently one royal photographer didn’t think Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage would last.Kent Gavin worked for Daily Mirror and spent years documenting the late Princess Diana’s life.

He told Insider that he thought for sure the Markle’s would crumble under the pressure of the royal spotlight.

According to Kent he and Diana developed a friendship as he recorded important events like her wedding and Prince William’s christening. He saw how damaging the royal spotlight was and thus did not think Harry and Markle’s relationship would last.

Harry and Markle announced their engagement in November 2017 and married the following year.

He said, “When it was announced that Prince Harry was going to marry Meghan, I said to my colleagues and a few people, ‘I don’t give that marriage three years.'” Well, it is three years this year so don’t be so hasty Kent.

He thought that Meghan and her Hollywood resume would throw away the monarchy and she did.

He told Insider, “I cannot see Hollywood, which is Meghan, a beautiful woman, a confident actress, putting up with the system, which even Diana couldn’t cope with.”

Royal Family News – Someone Thinks The Markle Marriage Is Doomed

In the now infamous Oprah Winfrey trash-a-thon the couple participated in this March, Markle said she was “naive” about what marrying a royal entailed.

“I didn’t grow up knowing much about the royal family,” she said. “It wasn’t something that was part of the conversation at home. It wasn’t something we followed.”

And yet she has been photographed posing outside the palace as a girl and she reportedly watched Diana’s wedding ceremony over and over with her bestie.

Poor Meghan was gobsmacked when she learned she would curtsy to the queen. “I genuinely thought that was what happens outside. I thought that was part of the fanfare. I didn’t think that was what happens inside.”

As it turns out the inside was too much for her to handle and now she is back in the US with her rescue chickens.
