British royal family news shows that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have just dropped some major news about their intentions to impact social media. Should we all be afraid? Their little-used Archewell Foundation has just made a major announcement and it has to do with the thirsty pair’s agenda to remake the internet into a reflection of their values.

Today, non-royal Harry and Meghan used their royal titles the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to make it known that they are, “partnering with two more non-profit organizations: Cortico—Local Voices Network (from MIT Media Lab) and The Institute for Rebooting Social Media at Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society. Archewell will offer grants to each group, so they can continue doing their part to better the community.”

Both outfits have been criticized for their agendas and it looks as if Harry and Meghan want to make their associations with the groups solid.

The groups are, “geared toward improving the digital community,” according to Pure Wow. But it depends on how they want to go about, “improving the internet that has some concerned with their real agenda.

According to the Archewell website: “Cortico—Local Voices Network is a platform that combines deep listening with artificial intelligence and natural language processing to identify what really matters to our underheard communities.” If you can decipher what is really being said there, kudos to you. It sounds a lot like scary double speak for an agenda the communicators don’t want to reveal.

But wait, there’s more! “The Institute for Rebooting Social Media at Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society is addressing society’s most urgent concerns surrounding social media, including hate speech and harassment, misinformation and privacy.”

You may remember that Megan proclaimed herself Miss Most Trolled in 2019. Before that she ran a blog. That was before her inscrutable 180 turnaround, throwing shade at social media users by comparing them to addicts.
