It's unthinkable Harry should be lecturing on mental health when only recently by his and his wife's own admission they didn't know what to do about her mental health issues. They thought going to the palace HR department was a better idea than contacting their own private, professional doctor!!! OMG it's frightening to me that given this situation, they still feel at liberty and qualified to lecture our mentally vulnerable people! Will their advice be contact your company HR department rather than first speaking to your doctor! Any responsible adult would advise anyone to seek your doctor's advice and he or she will direct you, seeing a specialist, talking to your boss or HR if you need time off or to reduce your workload. These two have proven with their statements in their Oprah interview they are the last people we need to speak about what to do about mental health! How can anyone intelligent buy into this situation of them giving mental health advice after the Oprah interview!
I think Harry would learn from the other interview with Opal
Besides he is not an expert on the subject
Completely correct. They have no background in psychology and no idea of what to do when dealing with their own problems. The need to get a clue.
Sara it really worries me two people who publically admitted in a tv interview that they expected the palace HR department to sort out their private medical problems! What happened to speaking to your partner and contacting a doctor like normal, sensible people! They are like two nearly forty year old toddlers. One minute telling the world they are so stupid they can't make a intelligent decision to call a doctor, because they think an HR department should make those decisions for them, and then the next they think they are qualified to lecture people on said subject!! Are these people for real!. I am so mad because I'm so worried that nieve and vulnerable people might chose to listen to their crap rather than making a call to their doctor. Anyone encouraging them to be listened to on this subject should instead be promoting listening to qualified medical professionals and seeking advice from their own doctor and not listening to advice from foolish, dysfunctional people. And Harry should never have been encouraged to distance himself and make matters worse with his family. I have suffered from depression and alienating loved ones and feeling unloved is part of the condition, once you recover you realize the depression can blow everything out of proportion, even the smallest disagreements. It's not a time for making rash decisions over family disagreements and a responsible loved one or friend would have given that advice, not encourage making family matters worse.
I 100% agree. Harry had mental health problems and spoke to a doctor himself. Why on earth did he not take her to see them
At the time Megan reports her suffering from mental struggles wasn't Harry getting involved in mental awareness? Like you say wouldn't he then have been better informed than most? Presumably he should have been doing research on mental health and seeking help? This is what I mean when I say their story doesn't add up. They are telling two conflicting stories here. On one hand they are stating they are not intelligent enough to know when they should call their doctor and the next they are trying to convince people they are qualified to lecture on mental health! This is a very scary situation and their talks on mental health should be shut down. If mental health needs a celebrity to attract attention it should be someone like Michelle Obama or major celebrities who have suffered and recovered, along with their medical professionals who successfully treated them in their recovery. I can't help but think Harry is only doing this mental health thing for attention, because if he was really interested in this subject he would have advised Megan to contact her doctor, not speak to an HR department! This entire situation seems contrived and is frightening and rediculous. It scares me given their statements these two feel qualified to lecture people in need of proper medical help.
