Royal Family News: Prince Harry And Prince William Could End Their Rift

British royal family news reveals that The Prince, HBO Max’s new cartoon spoof of the royal familyis making waves and generating controversy. Not as bad as the backlash when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle trash the royal family, but in that same ballpark.

The Prince is supposed to be satire, but apparently no one got the memo and critics have been savaging the show for making fun of the royals.

Now some are saying that the lightening rod show could be the thing that brings reportedly estranged brothers Harry and William back together. Would they join forces to lambast and bemoan a cartoon that lampoons their family?

In The Prince William’s son 8-year old Prince George is the main character which in itself has caused some to howl. How dare HBO allow a child to be the title character of a comedy?

Harry and William have shielded their kids from the media, with Harry being utterly rabid about it while William has gone about it the right way. William limits the exposure his kids get in public, while Hollywood Harry recently threatened legal action against the BBC for reporting that his daughter was born in June.

Prince William Has Shielded His Kids From the Media

Based on their mutual decision to limit media access to their kids, some are suggesting that The Prince is the perfect PR vehicle to use to heal their reported rift.

According to Michael Booker, editor for the Sunday Express, “I saw that clip there and I did have a bit of a chuckle. “But it would be an interesting experiment to see, [as they say] never explain never complain, but occasionally they do.”

“Look what happened when William and Harry, it was a very serious moment, but when they made that statement about the BBC and Bashir.

He went on to say, “That had a cooling effect… if for instance they put something out on Instagram or if they made a statement about [the show] they could get it shut down and they have a great deal of power there.”
