Royal Family News: Prince Harry As Miserable As Edward VIII, Radiates Sadness

British royal family news shows that Sad Sack Harry looks every bit as lost and “miserable” as his predecessor Edward VIII. Hugo Vickers made the bold claim, doubling down on his assertion that Harry and Edward VIII, “seemed to radiate sadness,” after cutting ties with the Royal Family.

Both men left the monarchy in a huff and a puff to be with an American divorcee.

Harry and Meghan, who still refer to themselves as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, ran from the monarchy in 2020 after complaints of being neglected and dejected.

Edward was actually the heir not the spare, and abdicated as King of England, in 1936 to marry Wallis Simpson.

Vickers reports that he’s, “never seen anyone with such sad eyes,” as the former monarch.

The Times reported that Vickers told the Henley Literary Festival, “I think the reason the Queen always had such sparkling eyes was because she dedicated herself to duty.”

In contrast, Edward, “took the path of perceived happiness,” by throwing away everything he had known to become Mr. Simpson.

Vickers said, “If you woke him up at 4am and asked if he had any regrets he would have said no. But if you want to know what he really thought, look at his eyes.”

Likewise, he thinks that Harry looks unhappy after giving up his life as a working royal. That sentiment has been echoed long and loud by an assortment of royal experts and fans alike.

Vickers also weighed in on King Charles’ apparent move toward a leaner monarchy: “I don’t know how you can have a slimmed-down monarchy because people do want to see them. The Queen and Prince Philip had about 2,000 organizations between them. You’ve lost Prince Andrew and Prince Harry. Who’s going to do it?”

Today the thirsty Markles released two photos of themselves, on the heels of Charles’ picture with Camilla and his heir William. The world swooned over the regal photo, did H and M feel the nagging need to show they are still in the picture (so to speak)?
