Royal Family News – Harry Doubles Down
Two years on from telling the world that the royal family is not his cup of tea, Harry doubled down on his arrogance making it clear that he has no regrets about choosing money over family.
“Home for me now is, for the time being, is in the States and it feels that way, as well. We’ve been welcomed with open arms and have such a great community in Santa Barbara, [California].”
He reiterated that sentiment saying, “I’m sure it’ll become a thing.”
Harry and Meghan refused to attend his grandfather Prince Philip’s memorial last month but they made a big deal out of traveling to the Netherlands last week to host the Invictus Games. Harry is filming his life story for Netflix while there and on the way over they did a quick fly-by to visit his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II who he dished about with Kotb.
Royal Family News – Prince Harry And The Queen Are This Close
Prince Harry said of his grandmother, “Both Meghan and I had tea with her. It was really nice to catch up with her.” He said she was in, “great form” ahead of her 96th birthday this Thursday, April 21.
Prince William and Duchess Kate “were not in attendance” during their shock visit and a source close to Harry played that down saying, “It was purely coincidental. Harry is coming back to visit soon and hopes to see William in person. They are trying to figure things out. … Harry and Meghan had a wonderful time seeing the queen again. It was one of the biggest highlights of their year so far.”
Royal Family News – Prince Harry Talks About His Life
For his part Harry wants us to believe that he is a changed man: “I don’t know how many people feel truly peaceful, you know? At times, I feel massively at peace. But with everything that’s going on in the world and trying to help and use the platform … I think the biggest concern or the biggest issue that people wrestle with on a daily basis is the [sense of] helplessness.”
“We as human beings are compassionate people,” he added. “But when your life becomes really hard, it can be, for some, harder to find compassion for other people. What I’ve learned over the years, certainly for myself, is that I find healing through helping other people.” As long as those people are not related to him apparently.
