British royal family news divulges today that Prince Harry issued a salty rebuke in light of the fact that he is banned from wearing his military uniform at the Queen’s funeral.

The Duke of Sussex served two tours of duty in Afghanistan and will wear a morning suit during any official commemorations he attends

While Harry, who thrown down his tiara in a fit of pique two years ago is prevented from wearing his military uniform, it’s been said that his disgraced uncle Andrew the Duke of York will be allowed to wear his uniform at the Vigil of the Princes in Westminster Hall.

Royal Family News – Harry Is Salty

There have been reports about who is wearing what for days. It was even speculated upon that Meghan Markle wore a hidden microphone while surveying floral tributes to the queen. According to Page Six, and followed up on social media, some speculated that a square shaped indentation on Markle’s dress was actually a recording device. Did she surreptitiously tape footage for the rumored reality series she and Harry are filming for Netflix? At any rate, social media is having a field day wondering about how far the couple will go given their dishonorable behavior toward his family.

Back to Harry, after reports about the issue of military uniforms, Harry’s spokesman stated, “[Prince Harry] will wear a morning suit throughout events honouring his grandmother. His decade of military service is not determined by the uniform he wears and we respectfully ask that focus remain on the life and legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.”

It should be noted that “Only working royals – which Harry and Andrew are not – are being permitted to dress in uniform at five ceremonial occasions,” according to the Daily Mail.

The ceremonial occasions include the coffin’s procession to Westminster Hall, the vigil at the lying in state, the funeral in Westminster Abbey and the committal service in Windsor. Andrew is not a working senior member of the royal family, that honor having been stripped from him in February by the queen herself, due to his out of court sex scandal settlement.

But, Andrew, “will wear a uniform as a ‘special mark of respect’ for the Queen when he stands guard around her coffin during the Vigil of the Princes.”
