Royal Family News: Will Prince Harry Play Nice?
That’s exactly what one royal watcher predicts. Historian Ed Owens is an optimist obviously, a glass half full kind of guy apparently. He thinks that trash talking Prince Harry may be invited to the queen’s Platinum Jubilee, and that his sure to be surly 2022 memoir could mend the fences and bridges he burned down like a crazed pyromaniac. Really? One can always hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
The expert told Metro.co.uk that Harry’s book will be, “guarded and cautious,” as there’s no evidence he wants to, “burn all his bridges.” If there is a bridge left standing, show it to me, Sir.
Prince Harry Has Burned His Bridges
The royal watcher, who wrote The Family Firm: Monarchy, Mass Media and the British Public, also thinks that Hollywood Harry wants to come back to the clan after having ditched it in a showy public display of disdain.
“A lot of commentators are saying the memoir represents a real threat to the house of Windsor,” he said. That the royal family will be “quaking in their boots” to see what explosive revelations Harry comes up with.
“To a certain extent there will be things in there that the Royal family would rather was not made public. But there will also be plenty of stuff in this memoir which works in favor of the monarchy back in Britain.”
Will Prince Charles Forgive Prince Harry?
If the expert knows what intel this might be, he isn’t saying. Despite his magnanimous predication, the rest of the royal stratosphere believe the memoir will serve to expand on the tawdry allegations he and Meghan clacked to Oprah Winfrey and others during a year-long diatribe against the royals.
Yet Owens believes Harry, “won’t want to ‘trash’ his relationships with his family, despite the strained tensions with William and Charles.”
He claims that if Harry brings up dirty laundry, he will do so in a “conciliatory” manner. Which sounds like a contradiction in terms, but one can hold out hope that Harry has seen the error of his destructive “truth bombing” ways.
