Royal Family News: Prince Harry, Meghan And Andrew’s Absence From Jubilee Celebrated

British royal family news reveals that there was one royal notably absent from the queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Her son Prince Andrew was nowhere to be seen, and not because he has the word “disgraced” permanently affixed to the front of his name. He had the misfortune of having been diagnosed with Covid prior to the four day bank holiday weekend.

John Oliver is speaking out about the historic weekend and Prince Andrew. “It has been a busy week,” he told Last Week Tonight, “It was basically a four-day celebration of everything that the queen loves—with one key exception.”

Prince Andrew tested positive for Covid prior to the Jubilee. Before this, in January, he had been stripped of his military titles and royal patronages after a deafening roar against his ties to dead convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. As such he was banned from being on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the Jubilee celebrations. He was in good company, Harry and Meghan were also exiled. Apparently they responded by picking up their ball and leaving early, taking their sideshow home to California.

Prince Andrew was expected to be with the tacky couple at the thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Oliver said, “Based on what generally happens with information about Prince Andrew, that COVID test will probably conveniently commit suicide in prison. Or, you know what? You know what? Maybe he’ll pay us all millions of pounds to stop bringing it up.”

He is referring to the millions Prince Andrew paid by his sexual assault accuser by Virginia Giuffre. She said she was a sex trafficking victim of Epstein and accused Prince Andrew of in a civil suit filed last August. Andrew denied the allegation.

Royal Family News – Andrew Paid Millions To A Sex Assault Accuser

Despite his innocent stand, Andrew settled the case out of court in February. Oliver similarly disapproved of Meghan Markle’s marriage to Prince Harry telling Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, “I mean, they’re an emotionally stunted group of fundamentally flawed people doing a very silly pseudo-job. That’s what she’s marrying into. So I hope she likes it. It’s going to be weird for her.” Alas, none of the Terrible Trio of Disgraced Royals made a dent in the Jubilee and for some that was the cause for celebration.
