British royal family news reveals the stunning bombshell that the UK’s Queen Elizabeth has reportedly agreed to retain just eight senior royals going forward—out with the old and in with the new as 2020 rolls to a dreadful end!

Her new, select group will be the only royals allowed to conduct official duties and represent the monarchy; apparently Prince Harry didn’t make the cut as a couch-surfing, telecommuting Cali royal.

Is A Slimmed Down Monarchy On The Horizon For 2021?

“Prince Charles has been the leader of this notion of a slimmed down monarchy for quite some time,” Daily Mirror Royal Editor Russell Myers, who broke the story, told Sunrise. Charles’ desire to put the monarchy on a diet has been known for some time, and he has made no bones about it. To that end he will be saving the taxpayer money and perhaps stave off calls to abolish the monarchy altogether.

It is thought that Her Majesty molded the select group in light of her belief that, “one must be seen to be believed.” That mantra eliminates any possibility that rule-flaunting Harry will be allowed to rule Britannia from his perch in the US.

Who Is In The Core Group Of Eight Royals Going Forward?

So who will be in this alleged group that will represent The Firm beginning in 2021? According to Myers, the public has already seen this group together. The group was gathered together for the first time this week as they celebrated Britain’s health care workers who have done a tremendous job during the coronavirus pandemic.

The group is composed of Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Edward, the Countess of Wessex, Princess Anne and the Queen Elizabeth.

Conspicuously absent from this photograph are Harry and Meghan, who are doing their own thing abroad, disgraced Prince Andrew and 99-year-old Prince Philip. Much had been made as to why Philip was not in the photo, and now it appears it was no accident, he was intentionally left out so as to announce the formation of the new royal unit.

Myers said, “We’re seeing a new royal family evolve,” and added that the eight have been dubbed the, “New Firm.”

“Senior courtiers are very, very keen of everyone supporting each other, getting out, fulfilling their duty. 2021 is going to be a big year for all of them.”’
