British royal family news shows that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are like a one-two punch, bringing equal part unintended hilarity and angst wherever, whenever they go or set about opening their mouths. Perhaps the world should have seen it coming when they dropped their bombastic proclamation, Megxit, on the hapless royal family last year, the “truth bomb” that launched a thousand mirthless laughs.

Now they are in Montecito, California, having abandoned the monarchy to roll around in their, “financial freedom.” After leaving his family in the lurch these two used a tell-all interview, facilitated by an open-mouthed Oprah Winfrey, to slam his family six ways to Sunday. Was it worth it?

According to The List, this one interview alone (they’ve done countless whine-a-thons since), “has sparked a debate about the ethics of the royal family and Prince Harry and Markle that still makes headlines months later. Royal Family News – Meghan And Harry’s Public Ratings Have Fallen Off

A BBC report revealed that a YouGov poll shows that, “40% of the people polled in the United Kingdom viewed Markle favorably in the autumn of 2020, this approval rating dropped to 28% in autumn of 2021.”

Who can forget the moment Princess Pinocchio threw Kate Middleton under the bus with a bullying slur? A more recent poll confirms the unlikability of both Meghan and her husband Harry.

Royal Family News – The Markle’s Are Not Likeable?

According to Express a poll conducted by Mail on Sunday asked 1,567 British adults to rate the royals. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were judged to have zero and -17 net approval, respectively. Ouch.

Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Queen Elizabeth came out aces. Middleton scored a +47 rating, Prince William scored a +55 rating, and Queen Elizabeth earned an approval rating of +60.

Not everyone fared as well as these senior royals. Prince Charles earned an approval rating of +25 and his wife Camilla Parker-Bowles earned an approval rating of +5. Only Prince Andrew scored lower than Meghan Markle, showing an unbelievably low approval rating of -50.

Andrew is accused of sexual assault by Virginia Roberts Giuffre, and the court case is ongoing. She accused him of having sex with her when she was a minor. He has denied the charges against him.
