Royal Family News: Prince Harry Might Now Be A Target For The Taliban

British Royal Family News says that some things are just best kept unsaid. There’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry might have put himself and his family at risk when he revealed that he killed 25 Taliban insurgents during his time in Afghanistan.

And while the Duke of Sussex says that he isn’t particularly proud or ashamed of that number, there are some people out there who think that he shouldn’t have made the admission so publicly to begin with. Here’s what you need to know.

Royal Family News – Prince Harry Might Now Be A Target For The Taliban

According to the National Enquirer, some military experts believe that Prince Harry might have shot himself in the foot, so to speak, when he boasted about successfully killing his Taliban targets. Seeing how he’s one of the most recognizable people in the world, there’s a good chance that the Taliban might now put a target on him and his family.

International terrorism expert Dr. Jim Garrow explains to the publication in a new interview, “The most idiotic thing a warrior can do is brag about his victories and incite potential response from the enemy. Harry has painted a big target on himself, his wife and their kids.”

Dr. Garrow further explained, “He’s effectively drawn up his own death warrant.”

Prince Harry wrote in his book that back in 2012 and 2013, he killed more people in Afghanistan than he anticipated. “So, my number is 25. It’s not a number that fills me with satisfaction, but nor does it embarrass me,” he wrote.

Yet, the Duke of Sussex later clarified that his words were taken out of context. During his appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, he said, “Without a doubt, the most dangerous lie that they have told is that I somehow boasted about the number of people that I killed in Afghanistan.”

He continued, “If I heard anyone boasting about that kind of thing, I would be angry. But it’s a lie. And hopefully now that the book is out, people will be able to see the context. It’s really troubling and very disturbing that they can get away with it. They had the context. It wasn’t like, ‘Here’s just one line.’ They had the whole section, they ripped it away and just said, ‘Here it is. He’s boasting on this.’ … And that’s dangerous.”
