Royal Family News: Prince Harry Renews Frogmore Cottage Lease, Won’t Let Go Of UK Status?

British royal family news reveals that Harry, the Duke of Excess, has not decided to put his money where his mouth is, and he has renewed his lease on Frogmore Cottage in the UK.

According to the Telegraph, Hollywood Harry, who lives in California, is still a British citizen and as such is, “eligible to serve his grandmother as one of her four state councilors because he is domiciled in Britain through his old Windsor address.” Well isn’t it just like Harry, always trying to eat his cake and have it, too. Harry ditched the monarchy in a hail of angry insults, and now lives in California with his wife Meghan and their two young children.

According to the outlet, Harry’s lease expires on March 31. For now his cousin Princess Eugenie and her husband live in Frogmore with their infant son. Harry and Eugenie made waves last Sunday when they were photographed, without their spouses, at the Super Bowl in Inglewood, California. Neither has commented on the outing, but Harry was pictured backstage glad handing various celebs. In one pic he was in the locker room with the championship team the LA Rams, and the players roundly ignored him.

Mickey Guyton sang the National Anthem and later she posted a picture of her and Harry together, hugging, somewhere backstage.

A spokesman for the Duke of Sussex said of the real estate matter, “No changes are expected to the current arrangement.” When will Harry tour the estate in his seeming landlord capacity? Not anytime soon if his demands for security remain unmet. According to Harry it is not safe for him to return “home” to the UK. He wants the same level of protection given to the queen even though he deserted the monarchy, for what he blithely termed “financial freedom.”

His lawyers have kicked up a fuss, claiming that the man who abandoned the country and his family in one fell swoop two years ago, now desperately wishes to return.

Before Harry and Meghan ditched their royal duties for greener pastures, they demanded that Frogmore Cottage be renovated for them at the taxpayer’s expense. They then declared it unfit for them, left for the US, and the public roared until they paid their bill. Now Princess Eugenie, Jack Brooksbank and their son August are apparently living there in substandard housing?
