Royal Family News: Prince Harry Slammed For Snub Of Prince Philip’s Memorial

British royal family news shows that some say blood is thicker than water but for one Prince the grass is greener in California and that’s everything. Today The Firm paid tribute to the late Prince Philip at Westminster Abbey. Even disgraced Prince Andrew was there, front and center. Where was Prince Harry? The question was on many people’s lips and minds with the words “shameful,” “disgrace,” and “pathetic,” used to describe Harry’s absence.

Prince Harry claimed that he could not possibly attend because he did not feel safe in the UK. Yet he has made a big deal out of traveling to the Netherlands in two weeks to attend the Invictus Games. Hollywood Harry refused to travel to his grandfather’s funeral because Scotland Yard refused to shadow him, a man who chose money over family, America over the monarchy. Who does Harry think he is?

Prince Harry is suing the Home Office, “after being told he would no longer be given the ‘same degree’ of personal protective security when visiting from the US.” This is his excuse, one branded as “pathetic” by Richard Griffin, who worked over a decade as Philip’s royal protection officer.

Griffin said, “’It [Harry not being here] was a big disappointment for everybody. People were talking about it. Certainly around where I was people were saying he should have been here.”

Prince Harry Has Trashed His Family

Maybe those same people forgot this is the Prince Harry who trashed his family on tv with Oprah Winfrey when Philip was dying?

Griffin added, “All this nonsense about how he couldn’t get protection, as far as I’m concerned that was a pathetic excuse. He should’ve been here to honor his grandfather.”

“At the end of the day, if he was that worried about security, he could’ve stuck with his brother and father who have got wonderful security and he would have been more than safe.”

Prince Harry Snubbed His Family Again

But would his father and brother want him “sticking” to them? Prince Harry has publicly branded his father as a poor role model who passed on “pain and suffering,” to him. Of William, he has called him “trapped” within the monarchy.

Griffin was not alone in his criticism of Harry. GMB presenter Richard Madeley asked, “What is he playing at?” and royal watcher Angela Levin tweeted: “Heartwarming to see the great-grandchildren at Prince Philip’s thanksgiving service. Plenty of royals, and hundred of those connected to his charities. No one will forget or forgive he who didn’t feel safe.”

Fans also trashed the royal runaway with one tweeting of Harry: “He probably has ‘better things to do’ in the United States of America with that awful wife of his. A disgrace of epic proportions.’”
