Now comes word that it looks like he has decided not to travel to the UK in order to spend a nice Christmas with a family roiled by turmoil (Prince Andrew’s civil lawsuit) and ripe with grief over the loss of their patriarch (Prince Philip).

No doubt Harry’s presence would go a long way toward soothing his grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s mind at this special time of year. But all indications are that he will spend Christmas this year as he did last year, frolicking in the land of “financial freedom” California, USA.

Royal Family News – Will Harry Travel For Christmas?

Harry the Duke of Sussex is said to be staying put with his cancelled wife Meghan Markle, and two kids Archie and Lilibet.

A source dished to Vanity Fair, “Let’s just say that while things are better between Harry and his brother, it’s not what it was, and I don’t think anyone is ready for a cozy family Christmas right now.”

Royal expert Robert Lacey echoed the thought that Harry’s tiff with William could be the reason he is steering clear of the entire clan. After all, William is the embodiment of the monarchy, and it would be awfully hard to interact with his family without encountering one of the next future kings of England.

Lacey said, “If this breach between the brothers is not healed in some way it will come to stand with the abdication crisis and the death of Diana as one of the traumas that changed the monarchy.”
