British royal family news shows that the time is drawing nigh for the question of will he or won’t he, is Prince Harry going to go back to see his family for a possibly white Christmas in the UK? pundits have all but placed bets on the Fresh Prince of Montecito’s holiday plans.
Now comes word that it looks like he has decided not to travel to the UK in order to spend a nice Christmas with a family roiled by turmoil (Prince Andrew’s civil lawsuit) and ripe with grief over the loss of their patriarch (Prince Philip).
No doubt Harry’s presence would go a long way toward soothing his grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s mind at this special time of year. But all indications are that he will spend Christmas this year as he did last year, frolicking in the land of “financial freedom” California, USA.
Royal Family News – Will Harry Travel For Christmas?
Harry the Duke of Sussex is said to be staying put with his cancelled wife Meghan Markle, and two kids Archie and Lilibet.
A source dished to Vanity Fair, “Let’s just say that while things are better between Harry and his brother, it’s not what it was, and I don’t think anyone is ready for a cozy family Christmas right now.”
Royal expert Robert Lacey echoed the thought that Harry’s tiff with William could be the reason he is steering clear of the entire clan. After all, William is the embodiment of the monarchy, and it would be awfully hard to interact with his family without encountering one of the next future kings of England.
Lacey said, “If this breach between the brothers is not healed in some way it will come to stand with the abdication crisis and the death of Diana as one of the traumas that changed the monarchy.”

His grandmother isn’t going to live forever.
If the next time he’s in England is for her funeral he’ll regret it; if he’s any kind of grandson.
He will do to The Queen (his GRANDMOTHER) exactly what he did with Prince Philip.
Not show up until the Funeral – which i do hope they cut him out of any Media Coverage.
All the mud-slinging, then he expects to be greated with open arms and sympathy.

Meghan will never be cancelled! Britain is in the throes of skyrocketing COVID19 infections so it is prudent for Harry to stay home for the Holidays. As a husband and father Harry is making his family a priority as any real man would.
I can understand a man not leaving his young children at Christmas. Its not unusual for people to want to stay home over the holidays, especially with covid still out of control. It's clear the UK is no longer home for Harry and thats ok. I am sure both parties are happy with the Christmas arrangements and will probably do what everyone is doing, zoom and phone calls on Christmas day.
