An insider told Us Weekly that the family, “and particularly Prince Harry — are doing their best to cope following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.”
According to the source, “The royals knew Elizabeth’s end was near, but mentally, she was as sharp as ever right until it was her time to go. All of the royals are struggling to come to terms with the devastating news.”

The outlet reports that Harry the Duke of Sussex, “is especially upset that he didn’t arrive in Scotland until after his grandmother had already died on Thursday, September 8. The BetterUp CIO and his wife, Meghan Markle, had been in London, where they were meant to attend the WellChild Awards. The Suits alum, 41, stayed behind as her husband traveled to Balmoral Castle, but Buckingham Palace announced the queen’s death before he arrived.”
Royal Family News – Prince Harry Was Too Late
The insider told Us that consequently, “Harry is guilt-stricken — full of sorrow and regret about not saying goodbye to the queen. They met up a couple of times during the Platinum Jubilee, but he by no means expected it to be the last time he saw her.”
Harry was in Europe purely by chance, in order to attend three business engagements. It was reported prior to the queen’s death that she had invited him and Meghan to visit with her at Balmoral but they turned her down. Apparently his father, now King Charles, also asked them to stay with him, and they refused. Tensions between the couple and his family have made headlines since their 2020 exit from the monarchy in a move known as Megxit.

I am sick of hearing how this has all upset Harry. He is a middle-aged man, he should have be had enough sense and compassion to have realized his mistakes with his grandfather’s passing and his vulgar actions. I would have thought having gone through that with Philip he wouldn’t have let Meghan do that nasty media article and he would have made it a priority to visit the Queen whilst visiting this week. This poor me performance just doesn’t ring true when he had ample opportunity to make things better before his grandmother passed.
I agree it’s time to grow up buttercup and grow some balls. Your wife is not a royal. It was your grandmother for God sake Harry should have been there for his grandmother.

Jezz you are spot on. They have no one to blame but themselves. Harry had his spine removed during the wedding ceremony and now he is facing the consequences of not standing up for his family. He threw them under the bus for money and his greedy wife. Live with the consequences.

I don’t think it really matters what the situation was why Harry didn’t make it there in time and that’s okay he’s the one that has to deal with that but my cutting him down and saying bad things about him is not going to help the situation and I think his wife is pretty awesome and I think you know he does things with her because he loves her and they do them together for people to say stuff like that they need to readjust their own life and what’s going on in their life I’m sorry but I feel bad because he did not get there and that is something that he has to live with the public doesn’t have to put him down because of it in Jesus name amen.
I think it’s okay that Harry did not make it there in time to see his grandmother before she passed he has to live with that and nobody should be putting him down because of that that’s something that he will have to deal with for years to come he wanted to be with his wife and that is just the way it is I like his wife I think he’s a nice person and everybody really needs to give her a break I’m tired of hearing about meganism make a good couple and I think it’s great that they’re together and that they came together here for the funeral and I think everybody else I don’t leave Harry alone and not put him down because he didn’t make it there in time and Jesus name amen and Jesus name amen

Exactly Mavis and Sherry, Edward and Sophies children are much younger than Harry, isn’t their boy the Queens youngest grandson? We don’t keep hearing about him, seems at 14 he’s more of an adult than Harry will ever be and certainly has more class.
You are right. He is not the only grandchild . But he is the only one that caused years of grief to his ailing grandparents. He is guilty and feeling sorry for himself.
All the family is grieving but he is putting it out there for attention and Netflix.
