Royal Family News: Prince Harry Threatens To Sue Queen, Should She Give In To His Demand?

British royal family news shows that Prince Harry is making waves again, predictably with a royal rant about his family. As if this is now the time, what with his uncle Prince Andrew in the midst of a ferocious scandal.

And yet Prince Harry is the gift that keeps on giving apparently, as he is threatening to sue his grandmother for inadequate protection. You read that right, a grown man needs his 95-year old grandmother, who lost her husband of 73-years last year, along with experiencing a myriad of health problems, to listen to his whiny cries or else risk legal action. Apparently Harry didn’t get the memo about it being a New Year, perfect time for making resolutions such as thou shalt not fling excrement on one’s family.

Harry is no longer a member of the monarchy, by his own hand, and yet he is demanding that the British government pay for his police protection when he is in the country. Which is hilarious given how much he loathes being there and his presence is equally loathsome as well as virtually nonexistent.

Sorry Harry, the adults in the room have rightly ruled that you, as an America dwelling person of non-monarchal status, do not qualify for the same protections as the rest of your family.

Yet Harry had this to say about the matter: his existing security team, “cannot replicate the necessary police protection needed whilst in the U.K.” If that’s the case, fire the incompetents. Is Harry actually saying he has no faith in his security team—if so I want to hear their clapback to his claptrap.

Royal expert Marlene Koenig tweeted her view of the latest Prince Harry-induced nightmare, “I think Harry’s issue will be handled outside of a judicial review that he and his family will receive appropriate protection regarding the Jubilee.”

“The Queen doesn’t need another dagger in the celebration so why not say yes,” Koenig said. “Yes they will be grumbles on both sides but let’s look at the bigger picture,” she continued. “The Queen holds the cards in this matter, not Harry.”

Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee takes place in June and marks 70 years on the throne. Harry has been back “home” exactly twice since he abandoned the monarchy and he and his wife lost publicly funded police protection when they denounced their positions as senior royals in 2020.
