Philip was hospitalized last week for an infection and has now been transferred to a specialist cardiac hospital. He is 99-years old and there is such concern surrounding Philip’s health that Prince Harry has reportedly been, “advised to fly home right now to say goodbye to his grandfather,” according to a source who spoke to The Royal Observer. “Who knows if he will listen,” the insider added.

The official statement from Buckingham Palace concerning Philip’s condition is that, “The Duke remains comfortable and is responding to treatment.”
But the source reported that palace insiders are now planning Philip’s funeral, which will, “be a massive state function.”
“There are lots of discussions about what to do with the problem of Meghan [Markle] and Harry,” the source added before explaining that it’s confusing “where to seat them and how to protect them from the British public who could boo them.”

Royal Family News – Will Harry Return For A Funeral?
On Monday, March 1, Buckingham Palace revealed that Philip was moved to a different hospital in London after being admitted to King Edward VII’s hospital as a “precautionary measure” on Tuesday, February 16.
The statement read that he was transferred to, “St Bartholomew’s Hospital where doctors will continue to treat him for an infection, as well as undertake testing and observation for a pre-existing heart condition … expected to remain in hospital until at least the end of the week.”
At the same time the family is worried about Philip’s recovery, they must also prepare for Harry and Meghan’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, set to air on March 7.
In light of current conditions, royal commentators are telling the couple it would be prudent to postpone airing the interview.

Penny Junor wrote Prince Harry, Brother, Soldier, Son, and she told The Daily Beast, “Anything could hijack this interview. Philip is ill. He is 99 and could die at any time. They were not to know he would get ill, but it could be seen to be the wrong time. But I doubt it is in their gift to postpone the interview. The control is in the hands of CBS and Oprah.”
