There are two huge events taking place this year, and it’s uncertain whether he will attend. For now he is claiming that he simply isn’t safe in the UK and wants Queen-level security—and he’s leveraging legal action to get it. Very sad.
Royal Family News – Harry Has No Coconuts?
Tom Bower, who is writing a biography of Meghan Markle, told Closer that he thinks Harry won’t have what it takes to dish it out and take it, too.
The Queen is celebrating her 70th year on the throne aka her Platinum Jubilee in June. This month there is a grand remembrance for his late grandfather Prince Philip—his attendance at either family event is in question based on his claim that he is not “safe” in the UK.
According to the Daily Mail, Harry, “faces the ‘ultimate dilemma’ this year, as he must decide whether to make the trip to visit his beloved Grandmother knowing that he’s being paid to bare his soul for the much-anticipated book.” To be exact that price is £14.7million ($20million) for a memoir due this fall.
Will Prince Harry Keep Juggling In The Backyard?
Bower thinks that Harry, “will find it hard to be ‘pleasant’ to his family ‘knowing what he’s written about them in that book.’” That is code for having a guilty conscience?
Harry’s book is published by Random House, and is expected to address his relationships with the family he abandoned for money, in his own words, “financial freedom.”
He is, “currently bringing a legal challenge against the Home Office after being told he would no longer be given the ‘same degree’ of personal protective security when visiting from the US.” Harry claims he offered to pay for it himself, the Home Office said he did not such thing. Given Harry’s loose relationship with the truth, who do you believe?
Bower claims Harry is, “using worries over his security as ‘an excuse’ and says he knows that it’s likely to be difficult to maintain friendly relations with the royal family following the release of the book.” Harry’s childish act is not fooling anyone—Bower is not the only one to have leveled the same claim against the court jester. In the end Bower does not believe Harry will come back this year, in spite of Prince Philip’s thanksgiving ceremony on April 29 and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in early June.
“I think Harry won’t come back because he knows he cannot face his family, and be pleasant with them, knowing what he’s written about them in that book,” Bower said.
