Royal Family News: Prince Harry Was Beyond ‘Cruel’ To His Father King Charles

King Charles’ very close friend says that Prince Harry’s behavior towards his father has been “cruel” beyond words. Sir Nicholas Soames, who happens to be very close to the King of England, recently said that Prince Harry’s behavior did a number on his father in more ways than anyone could comprehend. In an interview with the Times Radio, Soames put it this way, “In respect of Prince Harry, I just think it’s the most tragic. I mean, I can’t put myself in the position where my own son, if he did something like that to me, it would just be the cruelest… and one would mind. Of course it was hurtful, you could see it, written all over his face. Put oneself in his position. It was just painful beyond words.”

Soames added, “Of course, the king was very, very sad. But, we all have families. We’ve all lived through it. But it was a terrible blow.”

Prince Harry Went Too Far With His Insults

Soames also added that while he’s sure that everyone in the royal family is happy that Prince Harry will be attending King Charles’ coronation, he also wants to make sure that none of the focus is taken off the King of England on what will be a very historic day for both him, the monarchy and Great Britain.

As many royal fans already know, Prince Harry is expected to only stay in the UK for about 24 hours. He has plans to travel back home to Los Angeles almost immediately after the coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

He said, “I think it would have been a great pity if Prince Harry hadn’t come to his father’s coronation. And he is coming and I just hope that we can keep all this in proportion. This day is about the king and the queen, not about Prince Harry.”

So far King Charles himself has not made any comments about the interview.
