According to reports, Prince Harry could pull another brat move and refuse to attend his father’s coronation as king if his stepmonster Camilla is there. Well, that’s a no-brainer.
Queen Elizabeth has already anointed “Queen Camilla” thus there will be a great celebration when the couple gets their due. They are in their 70s after all, and the queen is 96-years old and celebrating her Platinum Jubilee in June, representing seven decades on the throne.
Will Prince Harry Pull A Brat Move?
It is a tradition that a new king and queen be crowned in a joint ceremony, and given that Charles has been vocal about his second wife being queen, why would he have a ceremony separate from her? It makes no sense. If Prince Harry carries as much animosity toward Camilla as has been alleged, it might be a hard pill for him to swallow watching her in what might have been his mother’s role.
Prince Charles Will Be King One Day
There has been conjecture about this happenstance and now the British satirical magazine Private Eye is getting in on the action. According to Yahoo, “Although the publication is famous for its mock news articles and comedic covers, it also has a stellar reputation for investigative journalism and insider gossip.”
Will Prince Harry Do Right By Prince Charles?
Private Eye reports, “One red line has recently emerged, however. Harry has no intention of attending his father’s coronation if Camilla is to be anointed and crowned just a few feet from where his mother’s coffin lay in Westminster Abbey.”
“[The queen] may have given her blessing to Camilla becoming queen consort, but Harry refuses to bend.” Then again, Harry has no say so in the matter not that that has stopped him from blasting his opinion hither and yon.
Still, what the queen wants, the queen gets and this is what she said in February about Camilla: “When, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me; and it is my sincere wish that, when that time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service.” And so it is decreed.
