British royal family news shows that Prince Harry may be trying to rehab his soiled image with a feel-good video for one of his charities. WellChild is a U.K. organization that provides support to ill children and their families and despite having thrown down his tiara, Harry remains their patron.
Harry became a WellChild patron in 2007 and defected from the monarchy in 2020. On Tuesday he relayed to fans: “For the past 15 years that I’ve been patron, I’ve been immensely grateful for the work that WellChild does and moved by the stories I hear and the people I meet.
For children and young people with complex medical needs, WellChild provides high-quality care services and the opportunity to thrive at home alongside their families.”

In the vid Dirty Harry solicited nominations for the 2023 WellChild Awards which recognize inspirational children and caretakers. To this end he said: “Right now, you can play a role in highlighting someone in your life who inspires you. Last September Harry and his wife Meghan Markle attended the WellChild Awards in the UK at which time they met inspirational four-year-old Mckenzie Brackley. Prince Harry has supported WellChild from Montecito, California.
In 2021 the duke attended the WellChild Awards at a private garden party at Kew Gardens in London where the awards were held outdoors due to Covid precautions.
