British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry’s first memoir is titled Spare and debuts in January. What is it about? We know it will cover his life to this point, in a wholly “accurate” version of the truth. But could it just as well be all about his wife Meghan Markle? Yes definitely, according to one royal expert.

What we do know is that the one word title, Spare, is a seeming reference to his sour grapes about being the royal family’s non-heir, the son who is waiting in the wings so to speak—fine whine anyone?

Reality shows that the spare is often a bit jaundiced from being treated like a second banana and Harry appears to be no different. But royal watcher Jonathan Sacerdoti, according to Express, thinks Harry might be playing a word game.
If so, he thinks Harry is referring not to his role as a royal plus-one, but to his role as Mrs. Meghan Markle.

Most people think the word is an obvious rant about being born after his brother William, the future King. Sacerdoti thinks that no matter what the title refers to, it is “very sad.” He thinks that Harry the Duke of Sussex, “might as well have just called it victim,” instead.

Harry is adept at playing the victim, as he demonstrated most ably in his 2021 whine fest with Oprah Winfrey: Wah, wah, my dad expects me to pay for my own family and I’m forced to get a job! Sacerdoti told Express.co.uk:

“I personally think it’s a clever title for the publishers and a sad title for him to have chosen.” “There will be those who look at that title and wonder if it also describes how he feels in relation to his current relationships going forward outside of the UK.”

Royal Family News – Harry’s Fine Whine

Driving home his point, the expert said, “We have seen a lot of Meghan in the media in recent years but not so much Prince Harry, who is something of a bit-part player in the Meghan show.” One need look no further than the 90 minute Oprah cryfest that featured Harry and Meghan. Meghan held pride of place all by herself in the beginning, and Harry was only allowed to come out after she was done trashing his family. Spare, indeed.
