Royal Family News: Prince Harry’s Memoir To Be Thorn In The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

British royal family news shows that Prince Harry is facing backlash for dropping his tell-all memoir during his grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee year. Harry also did a scandalous tell-all with Oprah Winfrey while his grandfather Prince Philip was on his death bed in 2021 so why is anyone surprised at his latest gauche move?

Harry the Duke of Sussex was outed last year by PageSix who broke the news that Harry had been scribbling away on his bombshell bio for a year. He then came out and acknowledged the effort, which is being written by a ghost writer. He said the bio will be about the “man” he’s become and the publisher is trying to spin the tome as “intimate and heartfelt.”

Despite all the spin, Harry is the target of criticism for spilling more dirt just as the ailing Queen, who has Covid, is trying to find a bright spot with the Platinum Jubilee.

Royal watcher Richard Fitzwilliams said Harry’s audacious timing could hurt his grandmother and family members telling Express.co.uk: “[The memoir] is likely to be serialized and there will be worldwide interest in it.”

“Its publication in the year of the Platinum Jubilee will probably ensure it extra sales. The publicity surrounding its launch, while there is still a royal rift, is surely not the way to commemorate a year without precedent in an institution which goes back for over a thousand years.”

Publisher Penguin Random House has said that the book will, “share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him.”

Fitzwilliams says that this description has led to speculation about Harry’s words and motives. He said, “Although its contents currently remain private, it is likely to contain highly sensitive material.

“How, for example, will it deal with Camilla and the controversies that surround her?”

A friend of Harry’s stoked the flames of controversy by telling the Mirror that Harry’s “true” feelings about his stepmother will be revealed in his bio, which promises to, “shake the monarchy to the core.”

And, in what could be a red flag, Harry has publicly ignored the huge announcement that Camilla will be named Queen Consort when her husband and Harry’s father, Prince Charles, ascends to the throne.
