Once again Harry the Duke of Sussex didn’t leave his $14 million mansion in California to talk to his fans. He spoke to Elizabeth and Gulistan Mirzaei about their film Three Songs for Benazir last week and they shared the thing to Twitter writing: “Last week, we had the honor and privilege to speak with Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex about our film Three Songs for Benazir. Prince Harry’s love, and dedication to Afghanistan is truly inspiring and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to share our story with him.”

Prince  Harry Is The Guy

It’s not clear what Harry’s involvement with the film is, “or whether the conversation was purely for promotional reasons,” according to the Daily Mail.

In the screen shot Harry is wearing a grey linen shirt. It is a far cry from his loud orange outfit he showed off last week when talking up the Invictus Games. He appeared in a video to promote the Games, but some called him out for doing so at the expense of his family.

Harry is able to travel to the fun and games but cannot be bothered to attend his legendary grandfather’s memorial. Prince Philip died last April and the family will be surrounded by world leaders as they have a memorial that was not possible under Covid rules. Harry won’t be there.

Prince Harry Wants Fun and Games

The Afghanistan documentary Harry is enthused about is less than a half hour long. It is about Shaista, “a young man who is a refugee living in a displaced-persons camp in Kabul. Shaista struggles to balance his dreams of being the first from his tribe to join the Afghan National Army, with pressure from his family to start having children with his new wife Benazir.”

Why is Prince Harry Avoiding His Family?

As the outlet states, Harry’s sudden appearance to promote Netflix content, “comes weeks after the streaming began taking steps to get the Duke and Duchess to produce some shows in 2022 – after they signed a reputed £120million deal to make TV.” Nothing like a little public shaming to get one to behave properly, right? Except that Harry is not a child, he has children of his own.

Two years ago he and his wife bragged of their Netflix bonanza: “Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope. As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us.” They still haven’t done a darn thing on their own, but working as something akin to a late night cleaning product salesman is a start.
