Royal Family News: Prince Harry’s Security Once Tackled A Family Member For Getting Too Close

British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry’s security team is so touchy about his safety they once tackled a member of the royal family who got too close. According to his cousin Zara Tindall’s husband, Mike Tindall, Harry let his security take him down to the ground.

According to Mike he and a former professional rugby teammate though it would be funny to see what happened if they horsed around with the delicate prince charming. What happened next was anything but funny.

Mike says that he and Harry were having a celebration with the England Rugby Team in 2003. Harry is a huge rugby fan and he watched on as his cousin-in-law Mike Tindall and his team won the match. After England’s win Mike decided to test out Harry’s security outfit.

According to The Sun he told A Question of Sport Live at the London Palladium that he and Harry were drinking after the win that occurred in Sydney. Mike and teammate Iain Balshaw figured it would be amusing to pretend to throw some jabs at Harry and see what happened next.

What happened next was that Mike and his friend discovered the queen’s security detail is paid well for a reason. He said it took, “just a few seconds,” for the guards to spring to action in defense of precious Harry. He said that the whole gag has become a running joke within the family and it’s a topic of conversation to this day.

“At Balmoral, the family are now having the same conversation,” he said, “Except the Queen has taken his security away.” Oops!

Harry Has His Own Security Now

Prince Harry clacked about his security in a salacious tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in which he openly gunned for his family with “truth bombs” and accusations, many of which were proven to be untrue. At one point in the ugly mudfest Harry said, “While we were in Canada, in someone else’s house, I then got told, short notice, that security was going to be removed.” This was after he defected from the monarchy, at a point in time (still in his 30s) when he still relied on his dad’s allowance to support his family.

He cried that he “never thought” such an abomination could ever happen to him. Now he pays his own security but it’s not known if his family have tested the strength of its response. Perhaps humorless Harry would not see the fun in that now that he’s turned into a woke and wooden caricature of the infamous party boy he once was?
