British Royal family news says that there might have been one really big royal misunderstanding. At least, that’s what some people believe. There’s a new report that says that Prince Harry was not snubbed at his father’s dinner invitation when he landed in Scotland before Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. That’s because King Charles III had already left his residence. Here’s what you need to know.

According to new reports, when Harry arrived at Balmoral Castle on September 8th, Charles and Prince William had already left for the monarch’s home on the estate and that there was no dinner planned to begin with.

Apparently, The Sun had reported that Harry didn’t want to show up at the dinner simply because King Charles had asked him not to bring along his wife, Meghan Markle. However, a separate report does say that the two royal brothers did have dinner along with their wives, Kate Middeleton and the Duchess of Sussex.

According to Page Six, the estranged brothers attended a family meal inside of Buckingham Palace in London and apparently, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle were there, too. “We are all very grateful — both sides putting all things aside for the Queen,” a royal source said.

Of course, many royal fans have commented on the matter with, “Harry has been flawless throughout what I can only imagine is a trying time for him. I feel like this is him going out with class as I suspect he will have little to do with his family in the UK after this week. I kind of get the sense from him that just wants to get through this week,” along with, “Well, this might be a step in the right direction. It’s been a hard week on all of the royals. But something tells me that this might be a new beginning for Harry and that he might realize just how much he misses the life that he left behind. He belongs with his family, full stop.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
