Royal Family News: Prince Louis’ Happy Wave Steals The Show At The Jubilee

British royal family news shows that Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee got off to a regal start today with the grand Trooping the Colour parade kicking things off. And as an added sideshow, the royal kids did their best to keep the crowd enthralled, with Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children garnering tons of praise for their all-around cuteness.

It was the first time that all three, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, appeared in the parade and little Louis was extra pumped for the huge event.

Cameras caught the buoyant children riding along on one carriage bench, while their mom sat opposite. The Cambridge family travelled in the lead carriage. Sitting next to Kate was Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

As is to be expected, the kids waved to the crowds as they passed by, with the paradegoer’s jazzed to see the trio all together. At one point on the Mall it was time to wave, and the kids did their duty, regally at first but then Prince Louis couldn’t stop.

Princess Charlotte is seen looking at him waving wildly before taking her hand and pushing his down. She then shot a quick glance at her mom as if to say, ‘I took care of it.’

The totes adorable sibling moment was caught on video and went viral with fans loving the sweet interaction: “And he starts waving again straight away – typical big sister/little brother. Love it.”

One tweet puts it as, “Princess Charlotte putting an end to the enthusiastic waving from her younger brother, Prince Louis.”

Another fan wrote “And he ignores her. Keeps waving,” alongside a cry-laugh face emoji.

One realist noted that Louis should “pace himself” as he has a “whole lifetime of waving” ahead of him.

But Louis wasn’t done having fun! Later he went on to steal the show on the balcony during the RAF fly past. His antics and funny faces will live on long after he’s out of short pants. Multiple memes immediately popped up on social media showing the adorable boy standing next to the Queen, at one point covering his ears and face as the planes roared by. Which just goes to show that the best laid plans … the queen banished poor Harry for fear he would act up like Louis!
