Royal Family News: Prince Philip Forced To Remain In Hospital Through The Weekend

British royal family news reveals that Prince Phillip must remain in the hospital into next week for an undisclosed condition. The news comes after an announcement was made today that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been formerly removed as senior royals, one month before Megxit was to be reviewed.

Today marks the fourth day Philip remain in the private facility in London for “observation and rest” after he was admitted after complaints of general feelings of unease. He is said to be aware of the decision regarding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s departure from the working Royal Family.

A royal source said, “Following consultation with his doctor he is likely to remain in hospital for observation and rest over the weekend and into next week. As we have said previously the doctor is acting with an abundance of caution. The Duke remains in good spirits.”

Royal Family News – Harry nd Meghan Have Been Released From The Firm

Philip walked unaided into King Edward VII Hospital on Tuesday evening on the advice of his doctor and was said to be in good spirits.

It was reported that the Queen told him of Meghan and Harry’s decision to not return as working members of the Royal Family and of her subsequent public statement.

It had been reported that Harry was self-isolating at his home in California, and had a private jet on standby, so he could fly back to the UK at a moment’s notice if Philip’s condition worsens. While there are coronavirus travel restrictions in place, the royal family is exempt from them.

According to the Daily Mirror he would be tested for coronavirus before leaving the US and upon arriving in Britain.

Royal Family News – Prince Harry And His Grandfather Once Shared A Close Bond

Philip and Harry had shared a close bond in part due to their love of the military. But royal expert Ingrid Seward said the Duke of Edinburgh was left bewildered by Harry’s decision to abandon the Royal Family and forge a private life in America.

Seward said, “’For Philip, whose entire existence has been based on a devotion to doing his duty, it appeared that his grandson had abdicated his for the sake of his marriage to an American divorcee in much the same way as Edward VIII gave up his crown to marry Wallis Simpson in 1936.”
