Royal Fans Get A Thank You Note From The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
Prince William and Kate Middleton sent their fans a thank you note in response to all the supportive messages that they received from them.
In the letter, they wrote that Prince Philip is missed by his family – including Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3.
Miss Royal Replies, one of the fans who got a thank you note, shared hers on her Instagram account. She posted a picture of the typed note along with a photo of Prince Philip, who passed early last month, in uniform.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge thank you for your kind words following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh,” the note reads. “Their Royal Highnesses have been incredibly moved by the many thoughtful messages they have received in recent weeks.”
The message continued, “They will all miss their much-loved grandfather and great-grandfather, but your message has provided great comfort at this difficult time.”
Prince Philip And His Great-Grandchildren In Picture Memories
After the death of the Duke of Edinburgh, who served as the longest royal consort in British history, Prince William and Kate shared some never-before-seen pictures of their kids with the late Prince Philip.
The first picture accompanied Prince William’s emotional tribute to his grandfather shortly after his death, and that is the picture of Prince Philip and his great-grandson Prince George enjoying a carriage ride.
William and Kate also shared a new picture of their two eldest children with The Queen and her late husband taken in 2015. The next one shared was that of a 2018 picture of the Queen and Prince Philip with seven of their great-grandchildren.
With the royal great-grandchildren’s various outings and interactions with the late Duke of Edinburgh, it would be really hard not to miss him, especially now that there’ll be an “empty seat” during royal family gatherings.
Prince Philip was a good grandfather, he probably was able to loosen up after the spotlight was off of him.
