Royal Family news reveals Prince William and Kate Middleton are celebrating their daughter Princess Charlotte’s sixth birthday by releasing a brand new photo of the adorable tot. And while there have been a lot of royal fans commenting on just how beautiful the young little royal is, a lot of people also can’t help but point out that she is the spitting image of her father, the future King of England, Prince William. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a new photo of their second-born child, which has become a tradition for their family as mom Kate Middleton shares the most recent portrait of her kids for the press and the public. Princess Charlotte’s sixth birthday photo certainly didn’t disappoint as she can be seen wearing a blue dress with pink floral detail and of course, a big smile on her face.

The Royal Family says the photo was taken this weekend near Cambridge’s home in Norfolk and ahead of Charlotte’s birthday on May 2. Princess Charlotte Charlotte is fourth in line to the British throne. She’s just one place after her older brother, Prince George.

Prince William and Kate Middleton shared Charlotte’s photo a few days before her birthday as they opted not to post anything on social media over the weekend. That’s because they are taking part in an online boycott by England’s professional football clubs which hopes to highlight the problem of racist and sexist abuse online. Prince William even said in a Twitter post that he would be joining the boycott, given his position as the president of the Football Association in the UK.

Now, as far as how Prince William and Kate Middleton celebrated their daughter’s birthday, they haven’t said, but there’s a chance that they might have had a small party at home in Norfolk with only a few close friends, seeing how the couple has been keeping mostly to themselves because of the ongoing pandemic.
