Duncan Larcombe is The Sun’s former royal editor and he made an astonishing claim about the couple’s status.
Royal Family News – Are The Cambridge’s Transitioning
He shared his thoughts on The Royal Beat saying, “Since they celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary last year, we’ve seen a transition of this couple. [They] make no mistake, it’s been a monumental transition.”
The couple met in college and dated before breaking up only to reunite later. Some questioned Kate’s fitness for the throne, but those thoughts have been banished in recent years as she’s blossomed into the role of queen consort.

Larcombe went on to say, “They’ve swapped their waxed jackets and walks with their dogs for tiaras, ballgowns and velvet with walks down the red carpet with Tom Cruise.”
“So this is about that coming of age, you know, we’ve seen Prince Charles and now we are seeing this couple, the Prince and Princess of Wales in-waiting.” The couple have three lovely children, the eldest boy, Prince George, will follow his father on the throne when the time comes.
Royal Family News – Will The Monarchy Endure?
And yet there are those who openly question the monarchy’s very existence. The British Royal Family is facing criticism ahead of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next week, with scandal makers clouding the sunshine.
Also, the number of residents supporting abolition has grown over the years, according to a survey and many young Britons, according to Express.co.uk, predicted monarchy will end after Queen’s historic reign.

Graham Smith is the president of Republic CEO, an outfit that proposes doing away with the monarchy. He claims, “When looked at alongside other polls in recent years, it appears support for the monarchy is on a slow puncture.”
He’s not incorrect, “younger generations in particular appearing more keen on republicanism than in the past.” But next week, “the UK is set to spend millions to properly celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, signaling there is still very much affection for the record-breaking monarch.” How the country feels about her kin is another matter.
